This project reflects our ability to create green spaces that help hotels achieve their commercial priorities.

Working closely with Sudima Auckland City, the Outside In team created inspiring green spaces that activate key areas of the hotel. The many picture-perfect green backdrops make a frequent appearance on social media – and prove an irresistible prompt for guests to post about their Sudima stay.

Greenery helps add a distinct character to the different venues within this hotel.

Following our successful collaboration with Sudima Auckland Airport, this project for its sister hotel in Auckland City saw our design experts create a striking and highly memorable aesthetic. The bespoke hotel planting takes inspiration from Sudima’s interior scheme, highlights the architectural elements created by Pacific Architecture, and adds splashes of vibrant living colour. Inside the foyer, feature greenery beckons guests into the space – creating a welcoming atmosphere where they are surrounded by nature. The hotel greenery, which includes living foliage arrangements on foyer tabletops, avoids impeding foot traffic. An abundance of nature brings a soothing presence into often-busy areas. Views of nature abound.

The hotel greenery caters to the needs of each guest – whether they are looking for the comforts of home, the convenience of a shared working space, or a private retreat to relax. For its contemporary bar, Sunset, our Outside In team brought the client’s vision of ‘Vintage Florida’ to life. This design aesthetic is channelled into a lush tropical planting, and a balcony filled with greenery. At East Restaurant, abundant foliage fills freestanding planters. These create anchor points to delineate the flow of people. The scale and quality of greenery created by Outside In for Sudima Auckland City is eye-catching, impactful and elegant. It adds the finishing touch to ensure guests enjoy a superior stay.
