Greenery by Outside In helps support Sylvia Park's commercial objectives and reinforces it as a retail destination of choice. The integration of nature at Sylvia Park creates a beautiful ambience that shoppers enjoy.

One of the hero dining districts at Sylvia Park is known as Sylvia Lane. Encased by an overhead canopy, Outside In has created this nature-filled laneway using more than 100 bespoke planters filled with over 330 plants. Our experts developed a precise in-built irrigation system to manage the watering of these plants and keep them in optimal condition. In The Terrace, another dining destination at Sylvia Park, plush modular seating areas feature flourishing plants. A large focal in-built planter cleverly combines plants and branding. Interior commercial greenery brings a soothing presence around seated areas, inviting people to take their time and explore all that Sylvia Park has to offer.

Sylvia Park’s extensive exterior gardens are also crafted and maintained by Outside In. From mature trees to crisply cut hedging, the garden design creates unique points of interest and character. In other areas, native flaxes are layered with flowering specimens. These commercial exteriors uses hardy specimens that look attractive whatever the weather brings. In 2022, we also began guiding Sylvia Park to develop an award-winning sustainability programme. Along with a fully circular on-site composting scheme, and rainwater capture and filtration, these sustainability initiatives also include an on-site community garden. This is tended to by local school children, with a little help from our Outside In experts.
